A multi-catch trap is more than you need here. Two to four snap traps along the wall do the job for a lot less.

Why the Rat Vac works on a lot of mice

Developed by professional rodent exterminators who have successfully solved over 3,000 rodent infestations. One trap. Multiple mice. Real results.

  • Mice go into the tunnel to reach the bait.
  • A motion sensor runs the shop vac for 10 seconds, then shuts it off.
  • Nothing to reset or rebait between catches.
  • It catches rats too.

Seal the gaps first, or new mice keep coming. UV powder shows their runways, and stainless mesh closes the holes.

Where to set a multi-catch mouse trap

Where to set a multi-catch mouse trap in a garage: along the wall, by the boxes, near the gap 123
  1. Flush against the wall, near an outlet. Mice run along walls.
  2. Next to boxes or shelves. Disguise it so it looks like part of the room.
  3. Close to where they come in. Look for droppings near gaps and pipes.

Pre-bait the entry with a little crunchy peanut butter, and load the bait plate well.

"I was skeptical but needed something to deal with an infestation in a shop connected to a shipping container. The first night, it caught 2, next 2 nights caught 8 more, 4th night 2 more. I had snap traps all over and this works so much better! I would recommend this to anyone that needs to get an infestation under control."

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, when they sit flush against a wall on the mice's runway and are baited well. The gain is that you don't reset them after every catch, which matters when you have a lot of mice.

Absolutely! Our Rat Vac multi-catch mouse trap can capture up to 60 mice without manually resetting or rebaiting after every catch. Unlike traditional snap traps, the Rat Vac uses motion-sensor technology to automatically activate a powerful vacuum for 10 seconds when a mouse enters for the bait. It then shuts off and automatically resets, ready for the next mouse. Ideal for kitchens, attics, garages, barns, and areas with heavy mouse activity. One bait station. Multiple catches. No constant resetting or rebaiting.

It depends on the space. For a garage, shop or crawl space with power, a motion-sensor vacuum trap like the Rat Vac. For a mouse or two, snap traps are the better buy.

Seal the gaps they use and put away all food, then trap. Set a multi-catch trap on their busiest runway and snap traps along the other walls.

There's no set number. If you keep catching mice after a few days, there are more, and a multi-catch trap saves you resetting traps every night.
