Collection: Multi-Catch & Multi-Purpose Rat Trap

A multi-catch rat trap catches rat after rat without resetting or rebaiting. The Rat Vac holds up to 35 rats: its motion sensor runs the vacuum for 10 seconds, then it's ready for the next one.

Which multi-catch rat trap setup fits your situation

Tired of catching one rat at a time? Our Rat Vac multi-catch rat trap can capture up to 35 rats without manually resetting or rebaiting after every catch! Its motion sensor automatically activates a powerful vacuum for 10 seconds, then shuts off, ready for the next rat.

Rats inside a bathroom wall cavity, climbing a drain pipe

Rats in the walls or ceiling

Scratching behind the wall at night means rats live in the cavity. With proper access, the Rat Vac attaches at a wall opening and pulls them out one after another.

Find how they get in first. In a lot of homes it's a broken drain or vent pipe.

Use: Rat Vac, $249.99

Sewer rats? The No-Dig Rat Drain Blocker is $349.99.

Rats under the deck, shed or coop

Outdoors, the Rat Vac is our first pick. Set it in a protected spot, flush against the foundation on their runway, and cover it with boards or branches. It needs an outlet close by.

Rats have other food out there, so expect it to take longer than indoors.

Ultimate Rat & Mice Catch Trap on its base

Only one or two rats

A multi-catch trap is more than you need here. Two to four snap traps on an indoor runway cost a lot less.

Never leave snap traps exposed outside or where kids and pets can reach them. Outdoors, only inside a secure, tamper-resistant station.

Why the Rat Vac works on wary rats

Developed by professional rodent exterminators who have solved over 3,000 rodent infestations. It works in attics, garages, crawl spaces, inside walls with appropriate access, barns, and outdoor rodent activity in protected locations.

Big rats are the most suspicious of anything new, so the Rat Vac sits on their runway and blends in.

  • A rat walks into the tunnel to reach the bait.
  • For big rats, use a 6.5-HP vac.

One bait station. Multiple catches. No constant resetting or rebaiting.

Twin Tip: a big rat can take a week to go in. Leave the Rat Vac where it is and keep the bait plate full.

Where to set a multi-catch rat trap

Where to set a multi-catch rat trap under a deck: by the outlet, next to the burrow, behind the boards 123
  1. Flush to the foundation, near an outlet. Look for dark grease marks where rats run.
  2. Next to the burrow or gap they use.
  3. Hidden behind boards or bricks. A trap in the open looks new to them.

Smear a little crunchy peanut butter at the entrance so they follow the smell in.

"The RatVac really sucks, in a good way. For almost 20 years we have battled rats in our Victorian Mansion on Vancouver island. Year after year we tried professional pest removal (2 services), ultra sonic repellent devices, traps and diy formulations of cement, baking powder or plaster of Paris mixed with flour, potato flakes and cocoa powder. All worked but not enough to get them all. Each year the sound of scurrying in the walls and/ or attic came back. Finally watched the “twins” on YouTube with their sound advice and techniques including the RatVac. Bit the bullet and ponied up the Canadian Pesos needed including the recommended vacuum, definitely need to get a super powerful one. Used a trail cam to locate where the rats were visiting nightly, drilled a hole and inserted the RatVack. Within 2 weeks all rats were gone including the king rat and his monstrous pregnant queen. For us, this system was a game changer. Worth every penny and after so much time, effort and expense we can now sleep soundly knowing the vermin are gone. We couldn’t be more pleased and tell everybody our experience. Buy with confidence, the Rat Vac is Blue Moose approved."

"I purchased everything the neighbors got chicken and I live in the city and the chickens brought rats and mice. After closing all the entry holes. I wanted to get rid of the rats that were just coming around. The rat VAC sensor was going crazy sucking them up the piece of mine my household now has is invaluable I’m not in the trapping business."
